Welcome to Shalom School, An English Medium and Co-Educational school has been set up under the aegis of Shalom Educational and Social Welfare Society in the year 2003. It started with a dream. a glorious vision to create an ambience conducive to creative learning; an innovative direction towards providing Standard education with firm anchoring in Indian culture, values and tradition; a humble endeavor to touch the grandest heights of excellence in Education. We aim to reach the unreached by educating and developing the people which are specifically focused to restore, release and resource the poor and backward communities of India. In its close association with Indian villages and the deprived masses, shalom has recognized the prime ailments that cripples, oppress and violate the progress of the common people of India. We train our students to be knowledgeable, skilled, confident and articulate but at the same time modest and humble. We make sure each and every student finds a place in this community and get the opportunity to develop their individual abilities and discover their latent talents. Shalom School has been set up under the aegis of Shalom Educational and Social Welfare Society in the year 2003 to educate the underprivileged children among the Dalit’s, the out caste members in Caste System maintained by the dominant religious groups of India. In 2003, when the school started the percentage of educated villagers were only 30%. The district comprises of tribal people who did not see the need of education as critical for the development of their community The repeated attempt of Pr. Jose Joseph in Pratapgarh produced results when 35 small children got enrolled in the school for the 1st Year. The School started in a rented house in residential area. Within 2012 the strength of the school grew to an outstanding number of 900 children. Five houses were rented, and the strength of the children reached more than 1000 within short span of time. At present it has 1000 children studying in all grades till senior secondary division. The School is equipped with 36 teaching and 20 non-teaching staff. Now it has become a reputed senior secondary school in Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan. During the past years of successful voyage it has searched, found and made some distinguishable scholars through academic, spiritual and physical training through proper evaluation.
